I guess that in my haste, I should have noted in the subject that this was for 2.6, and that Turbogears doesn't seem to explicitly support 2.6 yet, so perhaps I expected too much. My fault for forgetting how atrocious Python is at backwards compatibility. I suppose I should stick with my 2.5 install for a few more months yet...
