The quickstart for Genshi has the line <meta content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" http-equiv="content-type" py:replace="''" />
as the first line of the head section for both the master.html and the welcome.html. I've been dutifully following this example. But today I started cleaning up and simplifying my templates.
