To uninstall setuptools based packages, you'll have to open up your
easy-install.pth file with your favorite text editor (found in your
site-packages folder), and remove the listed packages. Afterwards, you
can delete the eggs in the site-packages directory.

You should try out virtualenv; if you use that, you won't have to deal
with this crazy process.
