Well, obviously enough something is *not* working. Otherwise you wouldn't ask here, wouldn't you? I don't know 100% for sure if the problem is the function re-creating the widgets *is* the problem, but as the issue is losing values that are supposed to be bound to the instance somehow, it might well be that creating new instances will cause this issue.
