Checked with TG 1.0.8 on Safari 3.1.2 and 4.0 on Win, and everything 
looks ok here. Maybe this happens only on a Mac, which I currently 
cannot test here. For some reason, on your Mac, the colors of 
CaptionText seems to be set to black, either because you are using a 
strange non-standard theme or because this is a bug of Safari 4 on Macs. 
You should then also have problems reading the last line of the page 
http://artific.com/library/css-2-system-colors.html which should read 
"This paragraph is within a div with a background color ActiveCaption, 
border color ActiveBorder and text color CaptionText."

In any case, you can solve this by using a different skin, e.g. by 
setting the parameter skin = "calendar-blue" or skin = "skins/aqua".
