Hi all,
since yesterday, finally all the TG2 stack is available in Debian.

It is currently in the "unstable" suite, but if no additional problems
will arise it will soon be part of the "testing" suite as well, ready
to be released.

If you're using Debian unstable, getting started with TG2 application
development is then a matter of:

  # apt-get install python-tg.devtools

it is recommended to install all "Recommends:" packages (which apt
does by default) to have a reasonably complete development
environment.
If you only need to run TG2 applications (i.e. you do not need the
development tools) then installation instructions are:

  # apt-get install python-turbogears2

If you have specific question on the packaging do not hesitate in
contacting me directly (I follow this list, but only sparingly) or, as
usual, file a bug report in the Debian bug tracking system.

I would love if you could add to the turbogears website the above
information on how to use TG2 in Debian and derivatives distribution
(including Ubuntu).

Many thanks in advance,
Cheers.
