The TurboGears team is pleased to announce the availability of
TurboGears 1.0.9, the latest bugfix release for the TurboGears 1.0
branch. You can download it at

Contrary to TurboGears 1.1, TurboGears 1.0.9 still runs on Python 2.3
and SQLAlchemy 0.3.10. Note, however, that TurboGears 1.0.9 won't run on
Python 2.6 and newer due to its dependency on RuleDispatch. You will
need to upgrade to TG 1.1 if you really want to stay up to date.
TurboGears 1.0.9 will probably be the last major maintenance release of
the TurboGears 1.0 branch.
This release brings almost a year's worth of minor improvements and
bug-fixes and also includes many fixes already available in the 1.1
release. For a comprehensive list of changes, as always, see the
