Sorry for the fast reply, but I am late leaving for a trip and wanted to get this off.
I have gotten the example given in the TurboGears docs to work with the above installation, but when I integrate it into my form, it fails. So, the TG example code works! It is my code that has the problem. I can post my code Tuesday night, and may be able to do some more FB debugging between now and then (going somewhere w/o Internet-- yes, thankfully there are still such places). I have a feeling I am doing something fairly stupid. I am actually not a Web app developer (embedded C is what I usually do), and I'm afraid that I don't have enough knowledge of TG yet to help with the maintenance. I might be useful in writing some documentation/tutorials. I have been learning seriously TG for the last 3-4 months and our application is of a medium size (~45 DB tables with another 15-20 likely), but with some fairly complicated and tedious business logic. Some of the notes I have made may be useful for those who want a bit more than the beginner tutorials, but aren't yet writing their own widgets or making mods to the TG source. TG has made the most sense of any of the frameworks we tried, and found that we could pick it up reasonably well while still being new to Web development . Thanks for all the effort from you guys that are developing TG, and I would like to help out if I can. We can talk more via email (after Tues). - Shane On Nov 14, 5:56 am, Christoph Zwerschke <[email protected]> wrote: > Shane schrieb: > > > @Christoph: I did a complete rebuild of my environment using the > > newest TG.
