Hello, I just noticed that caching of Mako compiled templates seems to be disabled on my sites. They are using the 2.0 branch, but there's the same problem with a freshly quickstarted site using the 2.1a2 release. Whether "paster serve" is used or mod_wsgi doesn't seem to make a difference. Even setting "templating.mako.compiled_templates_dir" to a world-writable directory doesn't seem to do anything. Yet no error message gets printed in the logs. Am I missing something?
