Hi all,
In preparation for the 2.1 release, we should pull together 2.0 to 2.1
migration documentation and add it to the official documentation. For
those who have already moved code-bases to 2.1, please reply with
descriptions of your process, any notes, gotchas, etceteras. For those
considering a move to 2.1, if you can take detailed notes as you do the
transition it would help produce better process documentation.
Point-form notes are fine, code-snippets and the like are very useful.
Repository links showing before/after diffs are also useful if you have
them.
What I have so far:
* add the json renderer
* HTTPException is no longer available from tg.controllers, import
from tg.exceptions
* `project/websetup` is now a package instead of a module in the
quick-start
I'm sure there must be other items that need to be changed, but that's
all I needed to do for the project I converted. I'd like to get this
documented for the 2.1 release so that we can encourage 2.0 users to
upgrade. As always, if this exists somewhere already, let me know and
I'll pull what's there together or link to it.
