If 2.1 works for you, I wouldn't bother. And I unfortunately can't
give more advice on the compilation problem. All I can suggest is to
either ask on some zope ML, or try & see why 2.1 works. Maybe using
the same version is no problem for 2.0

I decided to learn turbogears and am trying to install Turbogears on
my Ubuntu 10.04. It uses python2.6.
I went through the following steps.
1.Created a virtual environment
python virtualenv.py --no-site-packages mydevtg
2.activated the environment
"source mydevtg/bin/activate"
3. Installed Extremes as told by some forum
" easy_install Extremes"
4.Installing turbogears with this command "easy_install -i

would have to install python 2.5-dev but will that not switch my

it. Moreover "python2.5-dev" is not in ubuntu repositories any more
