IMHO the only good thing about jquery is the marketing... Dojo is much
more powerful, well rounded, and to me most importantly: modular. It
mimics OOP design very well. Really robust library.
Don't shy away from Javascript though, it is easier then server side
languages and Python for sure (well, maybe).
