The new sidebar works wonderfully! (In my opinion.) I also like the idea of keeping the first page <http://www.turbogears.org/docs/playground/docsprint201010draft2/index.html> simple to make it easy for newcomers to use; I think the TurboGears homepage needs that same kind of simplicity. BUT, the layout of that first page <http://www.turbogears.org/docs/playground/docsprint201010draft2/index.html> isn't fluid, so at a small enough browser window width (~1065px), the sidebar pushes the page content out of the viewable area. That isn't a big deal for me, but maybe there's a suitable solution using CSS (fixed width & float:left) to allow the <div class="container"> elements to page-wrap.
