I do apologize, but this is very hard to follow, and not because of language
barriers. I can understand the context very well. The code itself is
producing problems for me, mentally. Is there a repository we can look at,
or can you post the whole template that's giving you the problem? Snippets
of the template are often not enough, unfortunately.

Best is if we can browse the whole repository. It's usually fairly easy
then.
