I've been using http://pypi.python.org/pypi/TGWebServices/2.0.0a2 in combination with a little custom repoze.who plugin to provide authentication similar to http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/index.html?RESTAuthentication.html
