I've been a TG 1 user since late 2006 with a good sized app running in
production for our company.
Today I was setting up a new server to move the app to and went to
turbogears.org to get the tgsetup.py install file. My gripe is that it
took me a while to find it. Had I not known it had to be there
somewhere, I may have given up. I found it through the documentation
link, but in my opinion, it needs to be way easier to download. How
about a big 'GET IT HERE' button that takes you to the downloads for
each version.
Look at all the other big web framework sites and they all have a
download link on the front page.
http://www.web2py.com/
https://www.djangoproject.com/
https://www.pylonsproject.org/ - have to wait for the banner sometimes...
http://rubyonrails.org/
http://framework.zend.com/
Any chance of updating the home page with links to the downloads and
making it easy for people to get it?
