Yes, the recipes need some modification, and I have also made some WSGI related fixes to TG 1.5 which are not yet released.
I'll release TG 1.5.1 with these fixes and a howo for mod_wsgi this month. If you want to try TG 1.5 you can use mod_proxy until then.
