I gave a look at implementing it, the only issue is that it would require to make a new release of repoze.what_quickstart. Actually I'm starting to think that we depend from too many 1 file small setup packages of repoze that make hard to make our changes. Is it viable the idea of making a turbogears-sqla package like the turbogears-ming one that provides the required setup functions for TG auth over sqla instead of depending from 3-4 repoze packages?
