i'm stuck 1 pace ahead of you.
please set the charset argument to the charset used in the db. that's what
needed to run on windows. i've passed this param in the engine name's query
string.
now i'm stuch since i don't know yet how to set the tds version, thus my queries
fail for nvarchar fields.
