As a sample application for tgext.pluggable I released tgapp-smallpress which is a pluggable blog system.
http://pypi.python.org/pypi/tgapp-smallpress It supports tagging, whoosh based search and attachments and should be a fairly comprehensive example for anyone interested in creating pluggable applications.
