It's one of the targets for 2.2 wrote on the notes taken during the last meeting. No work has been started yet on the TW1 to TW2 switch frontier, but I think that your help would be great on, so feel free to manage the switch and submit a pull request on sf.net. I'll manage to merge it. Just work on the development branch which is the one for 2.2 release Currently TW2 support should already be in place, most work will probably involve cleaning up things, making it a first citizen and the default choice for new projects while keeping TW1 as the default for already existing ones. Also as those are part of the tg release we need to make sure (or move them to tw2) that tgext.crud, tgext.admin and sprox work correctly when tw2 is in use.
