I had in my plans to create a tgapp-userprofile pluggable app which
permit to users to see their profile and change password, email and so
on for a long time. But still didn't have time.

I promise it will happen someday,
in the mean time you can probably quickly solve your need by copying
the ChangePassword plugin of ACR cms:

https://bitbucket.org/_amol_/acrcms/src/014f10fee4a2/acr_cms/acr/acr_plugins/Chpassword/__init__.py

Just copy controller and forms from there replacing the @plugin_expose
with the plain tg @expose and it should work out of the box.
Template and other static files are available inside the same
directory if you need them.
