Ooh, I'm terribly sorry! My bad, my bad, my bad...
My template had:
<style type="text/css">
${c.style}
</style
And that corrupt closing style-tag led to the debugbar stylesheet not being
loaded...
So it was more a css bug and not javascript-related!
