since I've been searching for the answer for quite some time now I will copy it here too for others with the same problem. the solution is simply adding the following line to the form that it used to login the user:
<input type="checkbox" name="remember" value="2252000" /> 2252000 in this case is the number of seconds that the cookie should live. if the user checks the checkbox the cookie will have an expiration date, if the user doesn't then it will remain as before and be gone after the browser is closed. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
