Hello Groups, as I mentioned in https://github.com/TurboGears/tg2/issues/32, I'd like to have some more customizability for the flash message system (templatability and multiple messages would be my two major aspects). I started hacking an extension to tg.flash at https://github.com/moschlar/tgext.flash.
Right now, it supports multiple messages on one page and a little more flexible styling (atm by subclassing and overwriting the class attributes). As listed in TODO on top, I'd like to have it customizable without the need to subclass, but via AppConfig in any way. To use it, you currently just need to change the import in your controller to tgext.flash and in the template be sure to also use the new flash object and not tg.flash_obj. If someone has additional ideas, feel free to mention them here, file issues or pull requests, if it is fully working to everyones pleasure, it could maybe be integrated into tg2 in the future (though I would also keep it separately to be usable in older projects, too).
