Thanks very much for checking. As workaround, in the callback for the grid I'm checking if the sort column is an attribute in the table class. If it is then I proceed to sort the data. If not, it quietly does nothing. It's not an ideal solution, but people probably won't try to sort the non-sortable columns very often anyway.
