I wonder if I can generate HTML5 using kid or genshi templates.
I tried to change outputformat to "html5" in app.cfg as in :
kid.outputformat="html5"
or
genshi.outputformat="html5"
but it doesn't work. I got the error message:

KeyError: ('html5', <bound method Controller.search of
<sc.BASE.controller.an.az.Controller object at 0x9326650>>)
*Is there any workaround to achieve this thing?
