Having the log directory of apache not owned by www-data is the right thing to do, because if someone does something nasty within the apache daemon they won't be able to delete the logs showing what happened.
If the wsgi logging assumes this directory is writable by the UID that apache runs as, it needs a note to stay this will be a problem on properly setup systems. - Craig -- Craig Small (@smallsees) http://enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au Debian GNU/Linux http://www.debian.org/ csmall at : debian.org GPG fingerprint: 5D2F B320 B825 D939 04D2 0519 3938 F96B DF50 FEA5 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
