Nginx actually acts as a proxy server, you are not going to deploy the application on NGinx itself, rather deploy it on an application server like gunicorn, waitress, uWSGI and then proxy it with NGinx. That is the reason why you won't find much documentation on deploying on NGinx, because actually you don't deploy on nginx. You deploy on gunicorn, waitress or uWSGI.
If you want to use Gunicorn, it provides itself documentation on deploying TurboGeasr on Gunicorn behind NGinx: #Step 1 - TurboGears on Gunicorn: http://docs.gunicorn.org/en/latest/run.html#paste #Step 2 - Gunicorn behind Nginx: http://docs.gunicorn.org/en/latest/deploy.html Any tutorial for deploying PasteDeploy based applications actually works with TurboGears.
