This is what setting __headers__ does. So that's the intentional behaviour. Then in the data rows I am seeing raw html in the action column and then some data in the remaining columns. I suspect that the problem you are specifically going on about is the the html in the actions column. Having __xml_fields__ = [ '__actions__'] should fix that.
