Thanks Sebastien. I think this looks good so far.

I maybe wasn't clear. I don't think we should force this through
Axis2. I was just thinking it would be good to have an additional
binding to SOAP/Axis2 as a proof-point of any binding design, not
that the JMS work should be done through Axis2.

No problem that you are not Lance ;) I think a JMS binding
would be great. One of the work items we need to do is to
figure out a new binding strategy, particularly as we migrate
to Axis2. I think it would be a good idea to also validate this
against a JMS binding. I have the start of some ideas for that
I'll post to the list so we can begin discussion. I think the
binding work can be done in parallel to some of the changes we
are making in the proxy/wire/invocation/ builder layer. So,
when I'll try and write up those thoughts and we can discuss
in more detail.
Sounds good. Dims has on a couple occasions invited me to get
involved with Axis2, which is a fine idea, but I'm not sure why
non-SOAP bindings such as JMS (or File, Email, etc) have to be
integrated into Tuscany via a SOAP stack. Or am I misunderstanding
what Axis2 is bringing to the table as far as Tuscany is
concerned?

Yes I think we can use another binding as a proof-point of our
binding integration design.
Looks like we're reaching some consensus on this roadmap, so I
updated it with the input from this discussion and posted it to our
wiki at http://wiki.apache.org/ws/Tuscany/Roadmap. I think we can
also use this page to see what people want to volunteer to work on
and where we have open areas. Could people in the group take a look,
see if I missed or mis-interpreted anything, and add their names to
the items they're already working on or want to sign up for? Please
don't bother with presentation for now, you can just add your names
at the end of or under each line... After a first round of updates
I'll take care of fighting with Wiki to turn this into a nice table.
Thanks.

Ok, good. I removed the comment asking you to review the Runtime
Architecture improvements section.
Frank, Jack, could you please provide your input on the SDO and JMS
binding sections. Thanks.
I also added a header and a sentence to clarify that this is a *short
term roadmap*, and added an empty "longer term roadmap" section at the
bottom. I'll initiate the discussion on this longer term roadmap in a
separate email thread, and we'll move it to the Wiki when it settles.
If you're running into problems trying to make changes or add to the
Wiki, I've gone through this now and can help with the basics. If this
is the first time you do this, the first thing you need to do is to
create your user id at http://wiki.apache.org/ws/UserPreferences. Then
you should be able to create and edit Wiki pages. For more info see
http://wiki.apache.org/ws/HelpForBeginners and
http://wiki.apache.org/ws/HelpOnEditing.
