I don't have any updates on that ant cc-tasks bug. Unfortunately, they
don't seem to be in a hurry to fix it.

I hadn't ever considered the issue of the circular dependency, since I
envisioned the TuscanyMSVC8DevStudioCCompiler jar to be built just once
and to be checked into svn. I didn't ever consider that it would be
built on a regular basis. I just looked at the
tools/ant_cpptasks/build.xml and it would be quite easy to remove the
dependency on the rest of the Tuscany build system, making it a
stand-alone build.xml, thus removing the circular dependency.  If you
really think this can cause problems, I'll change the build.xml

Yes, you're right we should fix it. The build for this jar should be v
simple so probably does not need to include the system.xml etc..
