I know we're still in incubation and our main concern is to grow a development community but I think a lot of people who just want to use Tuscany and understand SCA and SDO could be a little intimidated asking questions on our dev mailing list. If that's the case I think its a shame cause we need all the feedback we can get if we are going in the right direction, what's difficult to use, what plain just doesn't work and drive new ideas for Tuscany. Just the name user mailing list really IMO lowers a mental bar on what some might feel is appropriate to ask. Unless Apache deems it inappropriate for incubator project off the bat I see little downside in creating it; we'll need it eventually.
