Company web sample does not work

The company web sample returns the following when you visit
http://localhost:8080/sample-companyweb-incubating-M1/Company.jsp:
It may be that there is more setup to do but it is not clear from the
instructions what you are required to do for the binary distribution.
I'll try following some of the setup steps and see if I can get it to run.
