Cleanup bigbank sample code

There's a lot of commented out code or obsolete code in the bigbank sample,
which should be cleaned up. The simpler the sample the better and a mix of new
and old commented code is not helping understand what the sample is doing.
I think we just need to do a quick pass over the bigbank source files and
format them, cleanup the old code, make sure the comments are in sync with the
code.
