Hi, Jim.

Sure, I'll check out the refactored core/groovy container and try to upgrade the Spring prototype over with your help.

I'm available tomorrow, do you prefer to have a face-to-face discussion or IRC?

Thanks,
Raymond

Subject: Re: [jira] Updated: (TUSCANY-415) Add a Spring container to Tuscany so that Spring beans can be used as an implementation for SCA components

Hi Raymond,

Can you take a look at the groovy refactor I did in the sandbox under jboynes? I think we can use this as a starting point for integrating Spring into the refactored core.

Ideally, I would like to have service and reference wires tied directly into the Spring AOP infrastructure so we can avoid a reflective hop as well as take advantage of their programming model. Also, I'd like to ditch the notion of component type so we can work with a "pure" Spring model.

I should be around tomorrow to discuss.

Jim

Here's the updated version with the following changes:

1) Rebased to Spring 2.0-m4.
2) Added support to invoke SCA services from Spring using the extensible XML configuration
