Jim Marino commented on TUSCANY-292: ------------------------------------ I don't think we need to log a thrown exception at the origin but should let it propagate up the call stack until it reaches an appropriate boundary. This will allow catching code to add further contextual information. The root origin will also be preserved in the stacktrace since Tuscany code must preserve exception information (that's part of the exception handling policy written up a while back). > Document our logging guidelines > ------------------------------- > > Key: TUSCANY-292 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-292 > Project: Tuscany > Type: New Feature > Components: Website > Versions: Java-M2 > Reporter: Jean-Sebastien Delfino > Assignee: Jeremy Boynes > Fix For: Java-M2 > > This was identified as a work item for our release on our Wiki page at > http://wiki.apache.org/ws/Tuscany/Tasks.
