I don't have access to an RHEL 4 system (where the problem described here is
exhibited) however
I've coded a fix that avoids the use of 64 bit integer literals and I think
that will fix the problem.
I've built and tested this patch on Windows XP / VS C++ V7 and on RHEL 3 and it
works on both.
