I suggest we combine them. One thing I liked was show how constructor
injection/CDI and setter injection could work with the same SCDL. Do
people think it may be worth it to have two calculator examples to
show this, or is it better just to have one? We could have partial
CDI and setter injection but I think that is not really a good
example since most people will do one or the other and rarely mix the
two styles.

Do we need two local wire samples or is one enough? Conceptually
there is a lot of similarity between local.wire and calculator.
