Adding extensions to tuscany war pluging results in non - intialized webapp

When some dependency extensions are add to the war plugin (see:
sampleapps\bigbank\webclient\pom.xml as an example) tuscany boot jars:
commonj-api_r1.1-1.0-incubator-M2-SNAPSHOT.jar
core-1.0-incubator-M2-SNAPSHOT.jar
stax-api-1.0.1.jar
tuscany-spi-1.0-incubator-M2-SNAPSHOT.jar
wstx-asl-2.9.3.jar
are moved to the web-inf/lib resulting in class not found errors for
org/apache/tuscany/spi/model/Implementation
