Hi Kelvin
In DAS, I created the patch to make DAS distributions to be unpacked in a
specific subdirectory relative from the current directory (e.g
tuscany-das-1.0-incubator-M2-src). From the subject of this JIRA, I got
little confused, are you saying all tuscany sub-projects should have same
root directory (e.g das, sdo, sca) ? or are you saying all distributions
from a given sub-project should have same root (e.g bin, src, sample) ? I
think both are not tru for what I did for DAS as source would go to
tuscany-das-1.0-incubator-M2-src and binary distribution would go to
tuscany-das-1.0-incubator-M2-bin for example... BTW, I tried to follow the
convention being used by Axis.

Kelvin Goodson commented on TUSCANY-902:
----------------------------------------
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-886 contains a patch for the
equivalent problem in the DAS distributions
release distributions should have common root folder naming the release

Key: TUSCANY-902
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-902
Project: Tuscany
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Java SDO Implementation
Affects Versions: Java-Mx
Reporter: Kelvin Goodson
Priority: Minor
The discussion at
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg11201.htmlidentified
that it would be better if all distributions relating to a given
release contained all their filles in a commonly named root folder.
