Hi All,
Are there any plans for Tuscany to actually use the Axis2 runtime
(whole infrastructure), not only its libs for specific parts of the
SOAP processing? I think it is very important to use one uniform
stack, and not have different runtimes. The axis2 WS runtime is more
mature, and more advanced. Could you comment on what the efforts are
to do this migration? Maybe I can also help... Thanks.
Best,
Angel
We are already using parts of the Axis2 infrastructure in addition to
the obvious use of the Axis2 runtime in our WS/SOAP binding:
- Our Axiom databinding can be used independent of SOAP, to convert
from another databinding to an Axiom model
- We are using the Axis2 WSDL2Java code generators, and this goes beyond
Web Services as with SCA all components can mix WSDL portTypes and Java
interfaces.
We could probably reuse more from Axis2 or improve how we use it... and
we could use help as well :) What did you have in mind?
