The attached patch doesn't provide the correct semantics if there are
duplicates of the same kind (i.e., 2 elements with the same name). In that
case, the spec says that the first one hides the second, but this
implementation will return the last one. Actually, it looks like that's a bug
in the current implementation (before this patch) as well.
