Resolution: Invalid
This symptom disappeared after I made 3 changes, not sure which one(s) did the
trick, but I
upgraded to maven 2.0.6
removed my junit folder from my local maven repository
removed my org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-surefire-plugin from my local repo
