Thanks for that information. The main use case I am currently looking at is the 
ability to parse an XML document where types have not been defined. From 
memory, whenever I have attempted this the XMLDocument.getRootDataObject() 
method returns NULL.

Open content properties are supported in the SDO C++ implementation. I'm not
sure if support is quite up to "spec" level but it's fairly close.

Deserializing an xml document to SDO without schema is probably "not quite
there" and the XMLHelper and parser code would need looking at to make this
work as per the SDO spec... but I think it could be reasonably simple to
support.

Do you have a particular scenario that you need to work?
