Are these public yet?

OASIS IPR terms in general are completely public.

The OASIS SCA TCs in general work using the "RF on Limited Terms" mode of the OASIS IPR policy:

http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/sca-assembly/ipr.php

...says this for the SCA Assembly TC, the other TCs have equivalents.

The detail of what "RF on Limited Terms" means can be found here:

http://www.oasis-open.org/who/intellectualproperty.php

...in particular look at section 10.2.

In effect, these OASIS terms are the closest ones to the Royalty Free terms that Open SOA used for the SCA 1.0 specifications.

I doubt whether these liberal terms are likely to cause problems for Apache projects. Other OASIS specs are in common use and follow similar forms of licensing.

I hope that this helps and can put to bed any further concerns about the specifications and their license terms.

Yours, Mike.
