Now that 1.0.1 is well on the way I'd like to suggest that we start to
think about our next feature release (1.1).
+1
We need to decide what we want in and when we want to get the release
out.
Aside from the roadmap page, is there already a list with what people
would like to see in?
The only list is the roadmap page as far as I'm aware.
OK, I have a few comments and questions.
From earlier in this thread:
- transaction is to be in 1.1
- will reliability be in 1.1 too?
- binding.jms is to be in 1.1
- will the JMS support include host-jms?
- distro (modularization) improvements
Some questions
- Support for domain in all the hosting options... what options does
that include?
- Is anybody working on domain management support with wsdm, jmx etc?
- Is anybody working on the Geronimo integration? has there been talks
about including it in a Geronimo release?
Two suggestions, as the number of items flagged as "to be in 1.1"
already scares me :)
- How about starting to assign some of the open JIRAs to the SCA 1.1
release?
- The list is a mix of small / almost done and huge implementation
tasks. I think it'll help to flag them as such, and say whether people
are actually working on them or not.
