Hi With my Java SCA 1.1 release hat on I want to tidy the Java SCA JIRAs so that I can tell what needs doing. We have some 649 issues in all states that are registered against Java-SCA-1.1, Java-Next or have no fix target. As there are so many it's difficult to tidy precisely but I want to do the following.
A) Mark as fixed in 1.0 the 211 JIRA that were marked as complete or resolved in the 1.0 timeframe (before September 24th) - see [1] for a list of the JIRA B) Mark as fixed in 1.0.1 the 24 JIRA that were marked as complete or resolved in the 1.0.1 timeframe (between September 24th and October 20th) - see [2] for a list of the JIRA That leaves us with 6 that are marked as fixed for 1.1 [3] (a 1.0.1 fix also slips in there which must have been marked retrospectively). It also leaves 171 that are not resolved or closed [4]. We won't get a huge number of these into 1.1 but it would do us good to do the tidying now anyhow. I invite all those who are involved in these bugs to take a look and see if the bugs are still valid... If it has been fixed already then mark it is as closed and assign it to the release the it was fixed for if you know. If it is no longer relevant then just close it If it is still a problem and it really needs to be in 1.1 then provide a fix and change the fix number to 1.1 Otherwise make sure that the fix number is Java-SCA-Next. I plan to do A and B first thing tomorrow morning (UK) if there are no objections.
