The main thing I'd like to do for 1.2 is to try to finish off the JMS
binding so that it as much as possible fully implements the spec but that
wont be done by middle of next week. Guess i don't mind too much just
committing things twice in trunk and 1.2 brn but could the branch be taken
a
little later say after Friday 14th?

Thanks Guys, my idea is to wrap up any in progress work and create a
branch middle of next week. It would be great In the mean time, it
would be good if we all could take a quick look at JIRAs and start
fixing them or marking them for 1.2 release.

Thoughts ?

Aiming for that sounds good to me.

And slightly off topic but in way of helping accept the "less and
sooner"
approach for 1.2 how about thinking in the back of our minds of a
v2.0for
May/June that includes all the things like runtime and distribution
restructuring, SPI cleanup, and hopefully being able to include a
post-graduation dropping of the "-incubating" suffix.

I've noticed Raymond (and others:-) taking on and resolving lots of JIRA
recently. You are a star Raymond! Motivated by this does anyone have the
appetite for a concerted push on JIRA next week? Picking up on Ant's
suggestion for a slight delay in taking the 1.2 branch we could usefully
clear the JIRA backlog a bit more before we take the branch.

Thoughts?

Simon

I agree with this. I'll go through the JIRA list looking for some that
I can take and resolve.
