I completely agree with you +1.
I was thinking about the consensus-driven way of taking decision in the
OSS but I used the word "vote" instead. Consensus is more precise and
accurate since it reflects the decision-making model; voting is the
means to achieve that.

in Apache projects is that decisions be based on _consensus_, so maybe

better to mention "Consensus" instead of "Votes" in that bullet point?
Voting can be a useful tool for gauging consensus but it doesn't by
itself
make consensus so can't be used on its own to make decisions.
